For the first time since 2019, the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) is set to return in full force.
From Sept. 21 to 24, hundreds of thousands of attendees are expected to make their way to Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba to demo new games, pick up limited-edition swag and soak in the vibe of not just Japan’s premier game show but one of the last major gaming exhibitions in the world today.
From updates on titles in development to potential surprise announcements for upcoming releases, the news might fly fast at this year’s TGS — so fast that even in-person attendees could struggle to take it all in. Thankfully, Koei Tecmo, Square Enix, Capcom and other giants of Japanese gaming will be livestreaming their major presentations for anyone in Japan — or across the globe — to follow.
