Hinomaru Jidosha Kougyo Co. will operate a bus tour in cooperation with Sky Bus double-decker tourist buses to transport people to Tokyo’s posh Odaiba waterfront area until Aug. 31.
The tour, dubbed “Going to Odaiba in summer vacation with Sky Bus – You can go to ‘Odaiba Minna no Yume Tairiku 2016,’” connects Marunouchi (near Tokyo Station) with Odaiba in about 30 minutes.
The tour, which costs ¥1,500 for adults and ¥1,000 for children, is a round trip between the Mitsubishi Building in Marunouchi and Tokyo Teleport Station of the Rinkai Line in Odaiba. The Sky Bus leaves Marunouchi at 9:15 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:10 p.m., 2:40 p.m. and 4:20 p.m. and Odaibaa at 11:20 a.m., 1:50 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5:10 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
The bus takes a route via the Rainbow Bridge and Fuji TV, where passengers can get off.
Reservations are unavailable and only same-day tickets are on sale at the Sky Bus ticket counter in front of the Mitsubishi Building’s first-floor entrance (Marunouchi 2-5-2, Chiyoda-ku) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Odaiba Sky Tourist Information (Aomi 1-2-1, Koto-ku) from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
