Talking Ted and friends
Imagine the joy children would get if their stuffed toys could talk to them. This is the premise behind Pechat, a new gadget currently under development by Monom, advertising and public-relations company Hakuhodo's product-innovation development team.
Shaped like a giant button, the Pechat is actually a little speaker that can be pinned or sewn to a child's favorite toy. Controlled remotely by a smartphone app, it makes the stuffed toy sound like it's speaking.
