Like many Tokyo mothers, there is one ingenious invention that I can absolutely not live without: our much-loved electric mama chari bicycle.
The list of things I love about Tokyo biking is endless, from being allowed to cycle on sidewalks to the fact I don't have to break a sweat while zooming up a hill laden down donkey-style with two children and countless bags.
In a nutshell, Tokyo is nirvana for cyclists — well at least for me, having moved here from London, where cycling on the road (even without the safety of two young children to worry about) feels more like an extreme sport than a leisurely commute.
