'Halo' turns it up a notch
There's a new "Halo" game! In the West, that's a big deal. In Japan? Less so. But even in Japan, where the Xbox traditionally has done poorly, "Halo" has a hard-core following. For those players, yes, a new "Halo" is a very big deal.
Dubbed "Halo 5: Guardians," this first-person runs at a brisk 60 frames per second. Iconic character Master Chief and Spartan-IV soldier Jameson Locke will be playable in the latest entry. Sci-fi space yarn aside, the real draw for many "Halo" fans is the gameplay — especially, the multiplayer. "Halo 5: Guardians" takes the classic "Halo" first-person shooter formula and pushes it forward.
