Swiss International Air Lines, with flights connecting Narita and Zurich, proudly welcomes passengers with its 'SWISS Taste of Switzerland,' a concept that runs through its first and business class flight meals elaborately designed by Kiyomi Mikuni, one of Japan's most renowned French cuisine chefs.
The 60-year-old Mikuni has produced both first and business class in-flight menus for over 10 years, dating back to 2002. Currently, Mikuni produces two of the four different main courses available to first class passengers flying between Narita and Zurich. He also created one of the four mains available for business class guests flying on the route.
Mikuni said that when he first started, the menu had more of a Japanese taste to it, but now, he has made it a little more Westernized.
