In commemoration of the opening of Tokyo's new sightseeing spot, the Tokyo Gate Bridge, the Hotel New Hankyu Tokyo in the Tsukiji district is offering a specially priced accommodation plan through June.
The 2,618-meter truss bridge spans a section of Tokyo Bay in Koto Ward. The bridge opened to vehicular and pedestrian traffic on Feb. 12 at an estimated total construction cost of ¥113 billion.
The hotel's guest rooms are all on the 33rd floor or higher, enabling guests to see a clear view of the bridge.
