The Hotel Hatsuhana, an Odakyu hotel in Hakone Okuyumoto, Kanagawa Prefecture, is offering a special fall accommodation plan with an authentic Japanese kaiseki course through Oct. 31.
The matsutake kaiseki plan features the prized Japanese mushrooms, which are a symbol of the autumn season. The hotel's special course dinner will use plenty of matsutake mushrooms cooked in a variety of ways, such as in dobinmushi (steam-boiled in an earthenware teapot) and cooked with rice. The meal will be served in the Japanese-cuisine restaurant Tsutsuji no Chaya.
Besides the dinner course, the plan also includes breakfast and is available from ¥29,150 per person for quadruple occupancy.
