On Dec. 31, the Park Hyatt Tokyo is offering a night of elegance at its New York Grill & Bar on the 52nd floor, allowing you to bring the year to a close with breathtaking views of the Tokyo skyline.
The special New Year's Eve Dinner menu features carpaccio using scallops from Sanriku, Miyagi Prefecture, and Matsuzaka sirloin steak from Mie Prefecture. The dishes are cooked to perfection by Austrian chef Stefan Resch, who joined the hotel this autumn. The meal will be accompanied by a glass of fruity and silky-smooth Louis Roederer Cristal champagne.
There's a five-dish course (¥28,000 per person) from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and a six-dish course (¥42,000 per person) from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. For guests at the later dinner there will be a countdown to 2011.
