Timed to celebrate the Mexican holiday of Cinco de Mayo, Trader Vic's at the Hotel New Otani Tokyo will feature Mexican dishes from its historic sister restaurant, Senor Pico, until May 31.
Senor Pico, a chain restaurant that was started in San Francisco in 1964 by the founder of the American chain Trader Vic's, featured Mexican food and cocktails such as margaritas and Tequila Sunrise using Mexico's national liquor, tequila.
During the Senor Pico-Cinco de Mayo promotion, Trader Vic's offers a course dinner featuring Mexican staples and a range of a la carte food and cocktails.
