Creative orientation: Survival in the gadget market can often come down to the smallest of tweaks in a product.
Creative has conjured up one such tweak in the form of its Zen X-Fi2 digital media player and has upgraded from the previous X-Fi by adding a touch screen. The company has thought laterally in setting up the X-Fi2 so that the normal method of using it is in landscape mode. The simple switch not only gives it a visual point of difference but emphasizes its use as a video platform.
The wide selection of video formats (it supports WMV9, MPEG4-SP, DivX4/5 and XviD) doesn't hurt, nor does having the ability to connect straight to a TV.
