Gadgets are like chocolates -- they might not always be good for you but indulging in them is one of life's rare guaranteed pleasures and Japan is to gadgets what Belgium is that other guilty pleasure.
Here's a sampling of the latest electronic indulgences:
TV ON WHEELS -- Japanese traffic provides endless opportunities for being stuck in your car doing nothing, hence the interest in doing something slightly more interesting -- watching TV. Dream-maker is doing its bit to further the cultural cause with its DM-VM092W02K windshield visor with integrated LCD monitor -- in other words a small TV screen built into the sun visors for the driver and front-seat passenger. The screens measure 9.2 inches diagonally and have a resolution of 480x800. Not surprisingly they are not intended for use while driving but for those times when you just have time to kill and the car radio just doesn't cut it.
