The inside cover of his book "Global Directory" gives a nutshell introduction to Harry Cheng. It reads, "Graduate of the LSE and Oxford University, co-founder of Global Projects, Harry has a passion for cooking, rose wine, photography, and meeting people around the world."
At 31, Harry has achieved more than a brief paragraph can even suggest. He lives life fully and merrily. So far, although he has taken chances, he has not put a foot wrong. Sharp, quick and confident, he aims high.
He is a third-generation Chinese who was born in Kobe. He breezed through his international schooling at the Canadian Academy, receiving a valuable scholarship for outstanding achievement, an award in social studies and another award for having coedited the school magazine. Each summer he attended a YMCA camp where as a youth leader he took charge of the younger campers. He was a Boy Scout, and was named to the National Honor Society of the U.S. At 18 he had behind him an impressive school record both in the classroom and in social participation and leadership. He was master of two languages.
