The Pola Museum of Art, which is best-known for its wide range of works by Claude Monet (1840-1926), Pierre Auguste Renoir (1841-1919), Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) and Leonard Tsuguharu Foujita (1886-1968), is showcasing its first contemporary art-focused exhibition since the museum opened in 2002.
Paintings, sculptures and ceramics by modern masters from the 19th to the 20th century will be presented with contemporary pieces, including sound art, video art, installations and open-air works. Highlights include Monet's "Water Lilies" (1907) and "Clinamen v.1" (2013), an installation by Celeste Boursier-Mougenot.
