Lithuanian-born American artist Ben Shahn is best known for his expression of radical, anti-authoritarian and individualistic ideas through works that depicted the political and social injustices of the 1930s. As a mixed-media artist, he experimented with illustration, graphic design, photography, murals and more.
This exhibition showcases around 300 works, including watercolors, drawings, prints and photos, on loan from the Marunuma Art Park, which houses an extensive collection of Shahn's life work.
