Nov. 26-Dec. 20
This is the fourth edition of Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum's series of annual exhibitions showcasing Japan's contemporary artists. As a group show to support up-and-coming artists, five exhibitions — "You Can See it (But You Can't Feel it)," "Is it possible: Tohoku-Ga? Museum for Hypothetical State of Tohoku," "JIS is it: Invisible Standards," "Sensuous Structures" and "Sensou-Ga Studies" — are being held concurrently.
Of particular note is "Sensuous Structures," by the art group Creo, whose huge installations and sculptures include Yuji Ichikawa's impressive 12-meter-wide "World Tree I."
