Dec. 5-Feb. 7
Limestone lithograph printing, a technique that was honed during the 19th and early 20th centuries, enjoyed a later resurgence in popularity through the work of Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse and Marc Chagall. Today, the French fine-art printing studio Idem Paris continues the tradition with collaborations from contemporary artists.
This exhibition of works from Idem Paris includes those by David Lynch, JR, Paul McCarthy, Daido Moriyama and William Kentridge in an unusual collaboration with author Maha Harada, whose latest novel "The Romancier," features encounters between a Japanese protagonist and various characters at the Idem Paris.
