Omnifone last week confirmed a partnership with Line Music, the music-streaming site from Japanese texting service Line.
The London-based company operates a cloud-based platform called MusicStation that lets digital media providers have access to 50 million tracks from just under 200 countries.
In a press release on the Omnifone website, Line Music's chief executive, Jun Masuda, said, "Working with a U.K.-based global music service provider will help us to enrich our popular music service with a whole host of new international artists for our users to enjoy."
The Line messaging service has 211 million active monthly users, and Line Music reports gaining 4 million active users since its launch in June.
