"Art Meets" is a series of exhibitions that aims to challenge visitors' perceptions of the world through the various expressions of established artists. This second exhibition features mixed-media works Nobuaki Onishi and Masaru Aikawa.
Onishi explores the originality and individuality of reproductions through printmaking and resin casting by replicating mass-produced items, such as tetrapods, as well as unique natural formations, such as leaves. Similarly, Aikawa's signature piece "CDs" involves the hand-painted replication of familiar CD cover sleeves and his own vocal expression of the music on each album.
