Renner (Kevin Costner) is a CIA agent with cancer, desperate to reconnect with his estranged family (living in Paris) but equally hankering for a miracle drug that would extend his life. The deal is that Renner must take on one last assignment to get his hands on the drug (in Paris) and, meanwhile, take care of his teenage daughter (Hailee Steinfeld) over a long, weird weekend . . . in Paris. Not as bad as it sounds, really.
