Director: Edgar Wright
Language: English
Director Edgar Wright is usually a pretty safe bet for a good laugh ("Hot Fuzz," "Shaun of the Dead"), but "The World's End" is painful. Simon Pegg plays a middle-aged lout who enlists his reluctant old school friends (Nick Frost, Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine and Eddie Marsan) to complete an epic pub crawl, which turns into "The Hangover" with an alien invasion. Pegg is more obnoxious than funny.
