Hijikata Masato's murder mystery, set on a cruise ship bound for Singapore, is based on a popular TV series about a ditzy heiress-turned-detective (Keiko Kitagawa) and her smooth, know-it-all butler (Sho Sakurai). Cartoonish murder methods and a ridiculously convoluted plot may wear out the film's welcome long before it reaches port. Vicol Entertainment's DVD for the Hong Kong market offers English and Chinese subs.
