This is the 13th of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo's annual exhibitions that showcase young Japanese artists and new trends in contemporary art.
This year, six artists and artist groups have created works that fall under the theme of "fragments." Their interpretations of "fragments" — whether it comprises parts of their surroundings, bits of objects, partial images or glimpses of experiences — are used to create pieces that in their own incompleteness prompt the viewer's imagination.
With so many possible fragments in life and endless ways to combine them, this exhibition invites visitors to see the world from a new point of view; Feb. 15-May 11.
