This Saturday and Sunday the Narita Yume Bokujo Harvest Festival will feature its famous grill — totaling 100 meters in length — filled with sizzling meats. It's the ranch's 21st annual event, and you're invited to experience barbecue in an big way. All kinds of juicy meats will be available, including steak, thick-cut bacon, sausages, pork and chicken loins, as well as fresh vegetables — all at special prices. Various all-you-can-eat menus will be available as well.
In addition to the BBQ bonanza, the festival will feature raffles, a very rare occasion to ride on the ranch's farming vehicles and quiz sessions with prizes such as dinner at a local luxury hotel.
A special auction will also take place where participants can win the right to name one of the baby animals born on the ranch, or obtain a year-long passport to join all its harvesting events.
The 21st Harvest Festival takes place at Narita Yume Bokujo on Oct. 19 and 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is ¥1,200 for adults and ¥700 for children over 3. Prices of food and games vary. For more information, visit www.yumebokujo.com/syuukakusai2013.html
