Every era of European history has produced significant and innovative works of art. And as genres and styles evolved over time, unique trends added a richness to art in general.
This exhibition focuses on presenting a comprehensive overview of European art history through various works from the 16th century through the 19th century. Featuring more than 70 pieces, visitors are guided through transitions and changes in artistic style conventions, which are visible in prominent works on display. Most of the paintings also incorporate significant cultural themes such as ancient myths, the Bible and other relevant literary works of the time; Oct. 20-Nov. 18.
