"The Possession" is an exercise in remaking "The Exorcist" and hoping no one will notice the glaring similarities. Droopy teen Em (Natasha Calis) buys a locked antique box at a yard sale while staying with her divorced dad (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Once she opens it, she starts displaying some alarming symptoms, like fingers crawling out from her throat. It's up to Dad and a rabbi to exorcise whatever it is that's gotten hold of her.
