This exhibition, which focuses on traditional Japanese pottery, is the final installment of a series of shows that was organized to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the MOA Museum of Art throughout the year.

The MOA's ceramic collection is surprisingly comprehensive and includes masterpieces from various eras and areas. Among these works are some known as rokkoyo, a reference to their origins from what were once believed to be the six oldest pottery centers in Japan — Tokoname, Echizen, Shigaraki, Tanba, Bizen and Seto; till Dec. 24.
