The Bridgestone Museum of Art boasts a broad collection of works that runs the gamut from the ancient to the contemporary.

This exhibition presents a selection of works with a focus on modern art, both Western and Japanese. Highlights include paintings by Impressionists such as Claude Monet and Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and others by Japanese modern painters, including Takeji Fujishima and Shigeru Aoki.

Newly acquired works by French Impressionist Gustave Caillebotte and Japanese oil painter Shikanosuke Oka are also being shown as part of the museum's celebration of its 60th anniversary this year; Oct. 26-Dec. 24.
