This exhibition features the work of 10 young artists from around the globe, each of whom has participated in a Japan-led artist-in-residence program during 2007 to 2011.
As more art programs are being offered to developing countries, there has been an emergence of young talented artists from such areas, in particular in Asia and Central and South America. This international show spotlights some of those promising artists, such as Florencia Rodriguez Giles from Argentina and Pradeep Mishra from India.
Here, the artists are given an opportunity to express how they see Japanese lifestyle through personal interpretations of their cultural and linguistic differences; till Nov 18.
