Based on a 2009 exhibition in Montreuil, France, held by the nonprofit organization art brut connaissance & diffusion (abcd), this exhibition features more than 100 works by Luboš Plný and Anna Zemankova, two important Czech art-brut artists. "Art brut" is a term that refers to works created by artists who have not been trained by art institutions and who create art from pure creative impulses, without the need or desire of artistic recognition or acclaim.
There are screenings of related films on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as scheduled lectures, tours and curator talks on art brut; till March 25.
