Celebrating the 80th anniversary of Osaka University, "Me in Brain, Me in Information" presents 10 installations based on collaborative research in human science and information science.
It is directed by Hideyuki Ando, associate professor at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, who has worked with other museums, including the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, on exhibitions using leading-edge visual and aural technology.
The interactive installations create the eerie sensation of self-concept not matching its aural or visual counterpart, such as "Shadow" (2011), which projects a shadow of the viewer that then starts to move on its own accord; till Feb. 4.
