Hot on the stiletto heels of Tokyo's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week comes Fashion's Night Out, an event that features limited-edition merchandise, some freebies and, of course, Champagne.

FNO organizers say 420 brands — from Dior to Hysteric Glamour — will be represented at the event. There will also be a Stamp Rally, with a chance to win free novelties. You can get the necessary stamp card online or at participating stores, and making two purchases over ¥5,000 will give you a chance to enter the lottery.

Many famous celebrities are set to participate in the event, including models Anna Tsuchiya and Ai Tominaga, and rapper Verbal.

The event was delayed this year due to the Great East Japan Earthquake and organizers have thus included a charity component, with a share of profits going to support quake victims.

Fashion's Night Out will take place in stores around Tokyo's Omotesando, Aoyama and Harajuku neighborhoods on Nov. 5 (the opening ceremony will be held at the Omotesando Hills shopping mall at 2 p.m., the event runs till 9 p.m.) For more information, visit www.vogue.co.jp/fno.
