There are many long-selling products around us. As such, old packages of familiar products can often remind us of our childhood, because the package design of these everyday items clearly reflects the aesthetic and lifestyle of a bygone generation.

This exhibition, which comprises about 300 product packages spanning the past 30 years in Japan, offers plenty of nostalgic food for thought.

Memorable, eye-catching designs are often created only after trial and error — designers of such iconic packages will talk about the essence of good design in a workshop on Oct. 22.; till Nov. 6.
