One of the most intriguing themes or motifs in art throughout the ages has been "human beings." In the collection of the Osaka City Museum of Modern Art, there are many works covering this familiar, and universal subject.
This show explores when and where people who are depicted in art works come from and who they are by looking at some 50 pieces by 35 artists. Paintings, sculptures, photographs and collages are showcased. In the gallery, works are set up lower than usual so that it is easier for children to see; till Aug. 30.
