Do you know how to make salt?
The Tobacco & Salt Museum in Tokyo is holding an exhibition on the world of salt making. Through a computerized Q&A system, children can study the process (in Japanese) by listening to salt makers.
School teachers will give lectures in Japanese on salt from 1:30 p.m. on July 25, Aug. 1, 8, 15, and 22.
The Tobacco & Salt Museum is 10 minutes walk from Shibuya Station on the JR Yamanote Line. The museum opens from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. (Last entry is 5:30 p.m.) Admission is ¥100 for adults, ¥50 for children. (03) 3476-2041.
