According to "Look," there are about 30 million surveillance cameras in the United States that photograph the average American nearly 200 times a day. "Look" introduces a variety of characters through the eyes of these devices. Included are a nerdy salesman who endures coworkers' constant practical joke, and a high-school Lolita who tries to seduce her married teacher. The cameras rip away the characters' privacy with results that are sometimes funny, but most often as ugly as a vulgar gossip magazine.
