This made-for-TV movie traces the love affair between opera diva Maria Callas and Greek shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis. It's packed with stale dialogue and charts their 9-year romance — from their encounter at a posh party to his passionate wooing of her and all the way through the "honeymoon period" of their relationship until he opted to marry Jacqueline Kennedy's leaving Callas heartbroken. It's a lame celebrity love story and focuses on Callas' love for the tycoon, rather than her singing career. Best kept on TV.
