"Eden" is a bitter, sometimes comedic and sentimental fantasy depicting the unrequited love of Gregor (Josef Ostendorf), a shy, overweight chef who is so good at cooking that his customers call him a master of erotic cuisine. Gregor has a crush on Eden (Charlotte Roche), a woman whose daughter has Down's Syndrome and whose marriage is going nowhere. After eating Gregor's chocolate cake, Eden becomes obsessed with his dishes and starts to visit his restaurant once a week. Through the delicious food Eden discovers a new meaning to life. The food certainly looks yummy, but the last course of the story ruins the meal.
