Resfest, one of the biggest digital film festivals in the world, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, arriving at Laforet Museum in Harajuku, Tokyo, on Nov. 23-26. The program includes screenings of rare music videos by Radiohead and the Japanese premiere of "Rock the Bells," a documentary about hip-hop mavericks the Wu-Tang Clan and their tribute concert to their late member, Ol' Dirty Bastard.
"Rock the Bells" screens at 7:20 p.m. on Nov. 25. "Radiohead -- the Visionaries: A Decade of Breaking New Talent" starts at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 26 and includes an animation for an acoustic version of their breakthrough hit "Creep."
Also screening are videos by audio-visual artist Takagi Masakatsu (his elegiac "Bloomy Girls") and breakbeat act Hifana, as part of the festival's "By Design" category (Nov. 26, 3:50 p.m.).
Tickets for single screenings in Tokyo are 1,200 yen in advance (1,500 yen at the door). Day passes and a festival pass are also available.
The festival will tour Kyoto Art Complex 1928 (Dec. 1-3) and Kobe Art Village (Dec. 8-10). For the complete schedule, visit www.resfest.jp
