PingMag (www.pingmag.jp), a Tokyo-based online magazine "about design and making things," and Test Tone will host a free party this Sunday in Yoyogi Park featuring cutting-edge electronic acts.
High on the roster is Tucker, who is a demon on a number of instruments, most notably the Electone organ. Tucker literally burned up the stage at this year's Fuji Rock Festival when he set his keyboard alight after a blistering set.
Also included in the eclectic lineup will be Goma da Didgeridoo's band Night Jungle (featuring members of the dub-reggae band Dry & Heavy); genre-busting electronic improv artst L?K?O?; versatile warbler Coppe; and much more.
For the complete line-up see Test Tone's Web site: www.soundispatch.com/tt/. For a map, see www.tokyo-park.or.jp/park/format/index039.html
