The Joey McNeely-directed Broadway musical "West Side Story" runs at Tokyo's Bunkamura, from Aug. 16-Sept. 3, before touring Osaka, Yokosuka, Nagoya, Matsumoto and Toyama.
A modern take on the love story "Romeo and Juliet," set in gangland New York, "West Side Story" includes music penned by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
The musical is in English with Japanese subtitles.
