Magic, juggling, acrobatics and pantomime will be some of the attractions at the 31st Noge Street Performers Festival taking place in Noge, Yokohama, on April 22 and 23, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The street performances began as a festival originating in Noge in downtown Yokohama in 1986 and since then the event has grown to incorporate the Minato Mirai 21 district, Isezaki-cho and Naka and Nishi wards of Yokohama.
This year features street entertainers from 38 countries, with most of the fun centered around Nogezaka-dori, Noge Hondori and Yanagi-dori. The nearest station is Sakuragicho on the JR Keihin Tohoku Line or Hinodecho on the Keikyu Line. For more information, call (045) 262-1234.
