The music video showcase Mirrorball, screened annually at the Edinburgh Film Festival for the last 10 years, will be presented for the second time in Japan. The Mirrorball Music Video Showcase Festival arrives in Tokyo April 15-16 for a weekend of events arranged into four screening programs and workshop sessions with directors and producers.

The "Best of the Best" program features music videos by leading directors Spike Jonze (whose credits include Fatboy Slim's "Praise You" and "Weapon of Choice" starring Christopher Walken), Michel Gondry, who as well as being Bjork's director of choice was at the helm for The White Stripes' "Fell in Love With a Girl," and Jonathan Glazer (UNKLE's "Rabbit in Your Headlights"). The "Global Selection" program features videos from directors from around the world.

There will also be talks given by producer John Hassay on April 15 at 6 p.m. and writer-director Dougal Wilson (April 16 at 6 p.m.). Both Hassay and Wilson are from the award-winning production company Colonel Blimp which has made videos for The Streets and Basement Jaxx.
