A variety of tableware will be displayed at the Tableware Festival 2006, to be held at Tokyo Dome Feb. 4-12.
The annual festival, the 14th of its kind, will feature the tableware of well-known European companies, a variety of crystalware, Japanese lacquerware and Japanese pottery such as Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki from Kyoto.
During the nine-day event, which features over 200 shopping booths, seminars will be conducted to give tips on how to make the most of a home's dining space.
The festival will be open from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. with admission at the door 2,000 yen. Advanced tickets are available at 1,700 yen. Children under the age of 12 and accompanied by an adult will be admitted free.
