The Seventh Sencha (non-powdered green tea) Ceremony will be held Oct. 22 at the Mukojima Hyakkaen Botanical Garden in Sumida Ward, Tokyo.
Through such events, sencha master Etsuko Yoshida aims to popularize the art of sencha. Yoshida particularly welcomes foreigners.
The ceremony will be held at 3 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. in the Onari no Ma tearoom in the botanical garden. Some explanations in English will be given.
