Five pairs of Japan Times readers are invited to attend the dance drama "Rottobaruto -- Yuwaku no Dokusaisha (Rothbart -- A Dictator of Seduction)" to be performed Oct. 10 in Tokyo.
This silent drama by the Alok Dance Drama Company deals with the character Von Rothbart, who has run away from the world of "Swan Lake" and scatters both beauty and ugliness amid the human world.
The dance drama goes beyond words, and so can be understood by people of any nationality, the company said.
Those interested should send a postcard to Alok.DD.C, Horinouchi 558, Hachioji, Tokyo 192-0355. Please include your name, address, telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail address. The card must arrive on or before Oct. 2.
