The St. David's Welsh Society is presenting its 14th annual Christmas Charity Concert 5 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Imperial Hotel.
The concert, to be held in an informal style, gathering around the great Christmas tree in the Imperial Hotel's main lobby, features the British Embassy Choir, the Tokyo Madrigal Society and jazz singer Kumiko Hara.
The concert is held annually by the St. David's Society, an association of Welsh expatriates and friends of Wales, to raise funds for Eyemate, one of the principal organizations providing guide dogs for the blind in Japan. This concert will mark the placement of the 800th Eyemate guide dog.
There is no charge, but a collection will be taken up for Eyemate and everyone is urged to give generously.
