Ryuichi Arisaka has perfected the choreography of the distraught. For his company Agua Gala, in collaboration with French artist Olivierde Schrynmakers, Arisaka created the piece "Industrial 03" which premiered Feb. 25-27 at the Japan Foundation Forum.
This venue is one of the more interesting in Tokyo, as it offers the fruits of collaborations between Japanese and other artists, which it supports to some extent.
De Schrynmakers, as the name suggests, is a master craftsman who heads the Atelier d'Artist de Belleville in France. He is billed as a multimedia artist, video artist, art director and journalist and had some of his work on simultaneous exhibit in the foyer of the forum.
