Edison is a victim of the Noto Peninsula earthquake. After the January 1 incident, it became impossible for his family to keep him.

Though the experience was surely terrifying, Edison shows no signs at all of trauma. Word from the family was that he was very timid, but there’s absolutely no sign of that either. Now in Tokyo, Edison seems to be thoroughly enjoying himself and is always happy to greet everyone. He’s about the size of a shiba but without that breed’s telltale intensity. Edison is great with people, walks on a leash well and is easy to get along with.

Edison would be an excellent companion for just about anyone of any age.

Edison would be an excellent companion for just about anyone of any age. He just turned 15, which is hard to believe given the energy he has on his walks. The fact that he used to be kept outside may be the reason behind his transformation — nowadays, he loves nothing more than a warm blanket and a heater. He’s a friendly guy waiting for a new home. Come on over. You can’t go wrong!
