No matter how hard we try, the affectionate, sweet nature of Aurora cannot be captured by a camera. She always ends up looking disgruntled, scared, ill or sleepy.
She is none of those. Aurora is simply a sweet cat. She loves to rub up against your legs and loves to purr, very loudly. Not a young thing anymore, she has an eye that causes her trouble, but it's no cause for alarm and she can live with it just fine.
Aurora came to ARK when her owner was hospitalized and forced to give up her five cats. Possibly due to her being unphotogenic and a bit shy, Aurora is still without a home.
As one ARK worker says, "She's really a nice cat. She just needs some help finding the right person." We're hoping you're out there, a friend or friends, somebody to love and to love her.
If you are interested in adopting Aurora, email ARK at [email protected] or call 050-1557-2763 Monday to Saturday (bilingual) for more information. Tokyo ARK is an NPO founded by Briton Elizabeth Oliver. It is dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned animals. All animals are vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Prospective owners are requested to undergo a screening process.
